Fostex X-28h Cassette Multitracker Recorder - Very Good - Tested Working

Item Condition is USED - Very Good. The tracker is in fantastic cosmetic condition. It is very clean with no scratches, cracks or issues with the casing/shell.

The Fostex X-28H High Speed Multitracker offers 4-track cassette recording at 9.5 cm/s with an 8-input mixer (4 mic/line, 4 line) and Dolby B noise reduction. Features include a backlit LCD, logic-controlled transport, and punch-in/out rehearsal mode for overdubbing. Tested and in good working order

Audio input was tested on lines 1 - 4 (Input A). Audio output was tested on the Monitor Out (MON OUT L/R). There were no issues as you can see and hear in the attached video.

The cassette mechanism is working as intended. A blank cassette was used for testing all functions and they work correctly - PLAY, REWIND, F.FWD, STOP, RECORD. All working with no issues.

The roller, capstan and head were all carefully cleaned with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and Q-Tip swab.

NO OTHER TESTING WAS DONE.
